OMUKIA, PUNCAK | Faktadetail.com – Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, one of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA in Papua, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency area, Papua Tengah Province. On Tuesday, 20 August 2024, the 323 Task Forces, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, conducted security in Eromaga Village, Omukia District. During the activity, LTC Tri directly led the unfurling of a giant Indonesian Flag on Cakra Hill, part of Eromaga Village. This activity was carried out to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
Prior to the implementation, the Territorial Section Officer of the 323 Task Forces, Second Lieutenant Dani, had conducted Social Communication (Komsos) with Community Figures of Eromaga Village, especially regarding the activity of unfurling the Flag on Cakra Hill. The positive response from the Community Figures, particularly Mr. Darius Murib’s words, “Commander 323, we are happy that TNI Soldiers unfurl the Indonesian Flag on Bukit Cakra. God bless”, reflects the strong connection and involvement of the community in the planned activities.
Despite Bukit Cakra’s classification as a vulnerable area and its frequent disturbances from the Free Papua Movement Organization (known as OPM), the soldiers’ courage in unfurling the giant Flag as a symbol of the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in Papua is commendable. The 15 X 12 Meter Flag, prepared before the assignment, was unfurled on Bukit Cakra by the 323 Task Forces for the first time, showcasing their bravery and commitment.
Upon receiving the program report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, expressed his pride, saying, “The initiative of the 323 Task Forces to unfurl the giant Indonesian Flag on Bukit Cakra, Eromaga Village, in the context of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence, is a shining example of the implementation of the results of the inclusive social communication with all parties to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region.” This positive response from the military leadership reassures the event’s success and underscores its significant impact on the community.
Satgas Habema Bersama Warga Eromaga Bentangkan Bendera Merah Putih Raksasa
OMUKIA, PUNCAK | Faktadetail.com – Satuan Tugas Batalyon Infanteri (Satgas Yonif) Raider 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, salah satu Satuan Jajaran Komando Operasi HABEMA di Papua, tengah melaksanakan tugas Operasi Pengamanan Perbatasan Mobil RI-PNG, di wilayah Kabupaten Puncak, Provinsi Papua Tengah. Pada hari Selasa, 20 Agustus 2024, Satgas Yonif 323 Kostrad di bawah pimpinan Letkol Inf Tri Wiratno, melaksanakan pengamanan wilayah di Kampung Eromaga, Distrik Omukia. Di tengah kegiatan pengamanan wilayah, Letkol Inf Tri memimpin langsung kegiatan pembentangan Bendera Merah Putih berukuran raksasa di Bukit Cakra yang masuk wilayah Kampung Eromaga. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam rangka memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan ke-79 Republik Indonesia.
Sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan, Perwira Seksi Teritorial Satgas Yonif 323 Kostrad, Letda Chk Dani, telah melakukan Komunikasi Sosial (Komsos) dengan para Tokoh Masyarakat Kampung Eromaga, khususnya terkait kegiatan pembentangan Bendera Merah Putih berukuran raksasa di Bukit Cakra. Melalui Komsos tersebut, para Tokoh Masyarakat memahami dan dapat menerima rencana kegiatan Satgas Yonif 323 Kostrad. Bahkan, salah satu warga masyarakat, Bapak Darius Murib, berkata “Komandan 323, kami senang Bendera Merah Putih berkibar di Bukit Cakra. Tuhan memberkati“.
Meskipun Bukit Cakra tergolong daerah yang rawan dan sering terjadi gangguan Organisasi Papua Merdeka (OPM), namun tidak menyurutkan semangat untuk membentangkan Bendera Merah Putih berukuran raksasa sebagai simbol kedaulatan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia di Papua. Bendera Merah Putih berukuran 15 X 12 Meter tersebut telah disiapkan sejak sebelum berangkat ke daerah penugasan dan baru pertama kalinya dibentangkan di Bukit Cakra oleh Satgas Yonif 323 Kostrad.
“Inisiatif Satgas Yonif 323 Kostrad membentangkan Bendera Merah Putih berukuran raksasa di Bukit Cakra, Kampung Eromaga, dalam rangka Peringatan Kemerdekaan ke-79 RI, merupakan salah satu contoh realisasi hasil Komsos TNI dengan seluruh pihak guna mendukung percepatan pembangunan di wilayah Papua”, ungkap Panglima HABEMA, Brigjen TNI Lucky Avianto, pasca menerima laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan.
