DEKAI YAKUHIMO | Faktadetail.com – One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Infantry Battalion 6 Marines, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Yahukimo Regency area, Papua Pegunungan Province. On Tuesday, 10 September 2024, the Marines Task Forces conducted a Patrol to secure the area by visiting and greeting residents in the Kiribun Village, Dekai District.
Commander of the Marines Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Rismanto Manurung, left a message to the Soldiers from Logpon Post led by First Lieutenant Nico, who would conduct the patrol on Friday. The message was that every Soldier should use their assignment for positive things, not just tend to do it as a routine. The message was immediately answered with the initiative and creativity of the Marine Soldiers in conducting the patrol by performing Social Communication and distributing free clothes to the children they met along the patrol route.
While maintaining the security aspect of the Patrol, the Soldiers extended a warm invitation to the residents they met, fostering a sense of community. The Kiribun residents, particularly the children and their parents, were overjoyed at the distribution of free clothes. Feeling like they were being treated as close relatives, a Papuan mother, Ria Otimuka, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you for the free clothes for our children, Mr. Marines. God bless”.
Upon receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, commended the Marines Task Forces’ initiative to conduct social communication with the Kiribun community. His words: ‘The Marines Task Forces’ initiative is a testament to TNI’s commitment to conduct inclusive Social Communication to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region.’ This recognition from the highest authority in HABEMA is not just a commendation but a testament to the significant impact of such initiatives on the region’s development. Baju Gratis Marinir Habema Bahagiakan Anak-anak Kiribun Papua Pegunungan
DEKAI YAKUHIMO | Faktadetail.com – Satuan Tugas Batalyon Infanteri (Satgas Yonif) 6 Marinir, bagian dari Komando Operasi HABEMA di Papua, secara aktif melaksanakan tugas Operasi Pengamanan Perbatasan Mobil RI-PNG, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Yahukimo, Provinsi Papua Pegunungan. Pada hari Selasa, 10 September 2024, Satgas Yonif 6 Marinir melaksanakan Patroli dengan cara mengunjungi dan menyapa warga di wilayah Kampung Kiribun, Distrik Dekai.
Komandan Satgas Yonif 6 Marinir, Letkol Mar Rismanto Manurung, menitipkan pesan kepada para Prajurit yang akan melaksanakan tugas patroli pada hari Selasa tersebut, yakni Pos Logpon pimpinan Lettu Mar Nico. Pesannya, agar Prajurit TNI dapat memanfaatkan waktu penugasan untuk hal-hal positif, bukan sekedar melaksanakan tugas pengamanan wilayah saja. Pesan Letkol Mar Rismanto tersebut rupanya langsung dijawab dengan inisiatif dan kreativitas para Prajurit TNI Marinir yang melaksanakan tugas Patroli, khususnya dengan cara melaksanakan Komunikasi Sosial (Komsos) dan membagikan baju gratis kepada anak-anak yang dijumpainya sepanjang rute Patroli.
Dengan tetap mengedepankan aspek pengamanan Patroli, ketika berpapasan dengan warga, para Prajurit Satgas Yonif 6 Marinir mengajak berkomunikasi dan disambut gembira oleh para warga Kiribun. Dalam Komsos tersebut, pembagian baju gratis disambut gembira oleh anak-anak dan para orangtua yang mendampingi. Merasa diperlakukan layaknya saudara dekat, seorang Mama Papua, bernama Ria Otimuka, berkata, “Terima kasih baju gratis untuk anak kami, Pak Marinir. Tuhan memberkati”.
Panglima HABEMA, Brigjen TNI Lucky Avianto, pasca menerima laporan kegiatan, menyampaikan, “Kreativitas Satgas Yonif 6 Marinir menggelar Patroli dengan melaksanakan Komsos di Kampung Kiribun, merupakan upaya TNI melaksanakan Komsos inklusif dalam rangka mendukung percepatan pembangunan di wilayah Papua”.
